Apparently, Frozen Lemons Are Great For Tumours, Diabetes And Obesity

We certainly are not lacking when it comes to different types of fruit. Some of them are quite tasty and can be pleasant to eat, but most of them also have therapeutic properties. That is especially true of the lemon, one of the most beneficial fruits that exist. Their unique flavour and scent makes them perfect for many recipes and they are something that can help our health in many ways.

Lemons have a detoxifying effect for the body but when they are juiced, they lose many of the nutrients that make them beneficial for medicinal purposes. On the other hand, when you freeze a lemon, it has amazing potential. It gives you easy access to the peel of the lemon, which can strengthen the immune system, regular cholesterol levels, treat infections and even prevent cancer.

Here are some of the many benefits of using lemon:

Prevention of asthma
Fighting inflammation
Detoxification of the kidneys and the liver
Boosting the immune system
Regulation of high blood pressure
Elimination of harmful bacteria
Treating depression and stress
Fighting cancer

Lemon juice is very high in vitamin C and when you use the rind of the lemon, it can remove toxins from the body. In fact, the lemon peel contains up to 10 times more vitamins than the flesh of the fruit.

Lemons were studied decades ago for treating cancer. They found that the fruit was able to eradicate malignant cells in a number of types of cancer, including breast, lung and colon cancer.

Unlike chemotherapy, however, the lemons only targeted the cancerous cells and did not affect healthy cells in a negative way.

A well-known nutritionist, Dr. Marilyn Glenville, who is also an expert on women’s health said that the peels of many different types of fruits can boost the immune system and support health overall. She said that smoothies were a better choice for using fruits than juices, because it may also contain some or all of the peel.

There is a bitter taste to lemon smoothies but if you freeze them, it gives you many options to use them throughout the day. Here are a few options to consider:

Wash and disinfect the lemons with apple cider vinegar. Rinse them and leave them out to dry. Put them in the freezer until the next morning and then grate the entire fruit, including the seeds and the peel.

You can add frozen lemon to a variety of dishes, smoothies, baked goods, tea, soups and desserts.

To your good health!
