Of course, it will always be a benefit because it’s an easy way to make an excellent cup of tea in the afternoon but you can also use it for everything from soothing a sunburn to growing some of the best roses you will ever grow in your life! 1.Relieve a Sunburn – The astringent and soothing properties in black tea can help to calm down the heat of a sunburn.
.Tired Eyes – The tannins found in black teas can help to soothe puffy eyes. Store the teabags in the jar in the refrigerator for up to a few days to use for this purpose.
.Minor Burns – Not only are the tannins great for tired eyes, they can also help to soothe inflammation caused by accidental burns.
.Hair Rinse – Add some shine to your hair or control dandruff with a tea rinse. Have some tea steeping for an hour and use it as a rinse.
.Warts – If you have a wart, putting the teabag directly on it and securing it with a wrap bandage for 15 minutes may help to shrink it. It may work because of the antioxidants in green tea.
.Stinky Shoes – When our foot is in shoes throughout the day, they can get quite smelly. Put a dry teabag in the shoe to absorb the smell.
.Growing Roses – Roses appreciate soil with a low pH, because it keeps fungus from growing around the base of the plant. The tannic acid found in tea leaves can lower the pH of the soil. Put a teabag or two in the soil in the spring and watch the magic take place.
.Dishes – If you have stuck on food on your dishes, soak them in the sink overnight with a few teabags. They will be much easier to clean in the morning.
.Mirrors – Time to put away the Windex. Soak a cloth in some cold tea and wipe it on the mirror. The shine will amaze you.
.Hand Odors – Do you have strong smells on your hands, especially after chopping onions or garlic? Wash your hands with teabags and it can remove some of the smell.
.Sore Gums – After oral surgery, you can use teabags in a similar way to a gauze pad. The tea will help reduce swelling and bleeding and assist in forming a blood clot.
