There are certain rituals that most of us have when we wake up in the morning. We likely take a moment to brush our teeth, make sure that our hair isn’t too wild and grab a cup of coffee. Apparently, there is another ritual that we should consider because of all of the benefits it provides.
In Japan, it is a common ritual to drink water as soon as you wake up in the morning. In fact, studies have shown that doing so is quite beneficial to the health. It helps to treat numerous diseases, including headaches, diarrhea, meningitis, arthritis, urine and kidney diseases, bronchitis, epilepsy, diabetes, tachycardia and even menstrual disorders! In fact, it is difficult to find anything that is not treated with a good glass of water in the morning.
Follow this Japanese ritual by using the rules outlined below!
- Drink 4 x 160 ml of water immediately after waking up, even before brushing teeth.
- Afterwards, you can brush your teeth, but wait for another 45 minutes before you eat anything.
- after those 45 minutes, you may eat normally.
- do not drink or eat anything after your meals for another 2 hours.
If you are ill or elderly, it is best to gradually increase the amount of water that you are drinking, rather than doing it all at one time on the first day.
Drinking water is a habit that could cure all of the diseases mentioned above and more. It will allow you to enjoy a healthy life. Here are how many days it takes to cure the common diseases listed below.
- Constipation – 10 days
- Gastric – 10 days
- High blood pressure – 30 days
- Diabetes – 30 days
- TB – 90 days
If you have arthritis, only use this ritual 3 days the first week and then continue on a daily basis from the second week forward.
The water treatment ritual has no side effects, although you may find that you are urinating a few times more every day than you are used to. That is especially true when you first start.
