Imagine this scenario, as it is one that has happened to many of us through the years. We are getting ready to go out for the evening and we look down to notice that we are covered with either lint, pet hair or some other type of debris.
It seems to cling to our clothes and no matter how much we shake them or brush them with our hands, it does no good. This is the perfect reason why you should have a lint roller on hand. A few rolls across your clothing and before you know it, your duds are as good as new.
Although this is the primary reason why we would use such an item, there are actually many other reasons why they are beneficial. Look through these different ways that you can use a lint roller around the home and you will be sure to keep several of them on hand at all times!
1. Broken Glass – It can be quite difficult to get all of the glass up off the floor when it breaks. A lint roller makes short order of it.
2. Stuffed Animals – Don’t wash your stuffed animals to remove dust, it ruins them over time. Use a lint roller between washes and they will be huggable again.
3. Pet Hair – Yes, we use a lint roller to remove pet hair from our clothing but you can also remove it directly from the pet as well as they shed!
4. Car Crumbs – It can be difficult to get all of the crumbs up from your car so keep a lint roller in your glove box. It can get what the vacuum cleaner misses.
5. Pins – When you drop sewing needles, thread or stick pins, you can easily pick them up with a lint roller.
6. Pool Tables – Don’t damage the fibers with a vacuum, use a lint roller to keep it lint-free.
7. In Your Purse – Have you ever pulled a handful of debris from your purse when you’re searching for something? Empty the purse and use a lint roller to clean it good as new.
8. Pine Needles – Lint rollers are perfect for getting the needles your Christmas tree left behind.
9. Crafting – After the craft project is finished, use a lint roller to pick up glitter that would otherwise be missed.
10. Lampshades – Take a lint roller to your lampshades to remove dirt, dust and debris quickly and easily.
11. Sunburn – As your sunburn is peeling, don’t pick at it, roll it with a lint roller to remove dead skin.
12. Pilling – When your towels start pilling, roll a lint roller over them to make them good as new.
13. Electronic Devices – Beat static on your electronic devices with a lint roller.
14. Clean Drawers – Get the inside of your drawers nice and clean with a lint roller.
