Most of us don’t think that there is much that could be done to improve on a simple patio table. It serves a purpose, but this particular patio table now serves multi-purposes.
After all, it has 2 built-in coolers that are perfect for keeping beverages handy and cool at a party.
First of all, you need to gather the materials necessary for the project. Basically, you are building a patio table so you need to cut the lumber to size and sand everything.
Once the table begins to take shape, leave 2 spaces in the center of the table tops were your ice buckets will sit.
After the tabletop is completed, hang the buckets and prepare to finish the legs.
It takes some time to put it together, but when it is finished, it is well worth the effort.
Personally, I love the fact that you can’t see the buckets until they are revealed. It looks just like a regular table but it holds an awesome secret.
Simply lift out the pieces of wood that are covering the buckets to reveal the perfect place to house your cold drinks.
Sarah, the creator of this project, wanted a table that was more than just a simple table. She wanted the option of having a cooler available at all times but she wanted to cover it when it was not in use.
After exposing the ice buckets, simply fill them with ice and beverages and everyone will be happy!
A side point of why this is such an awesome project is because people can keep their drinks in the ice while they are eating. Their beverage will always be ice cold.
