Not only is it going to save you time because you are not going to have to run to the store to purchase them, it will save you money as well! That is something every family can appreciate.
Start with some water, fabric softener and generic sponges.
Mix two parts water with one part fabric softener in a container with a lid. When you are doing laundry and preparing to throw it in the dryer, dip a sponge in the liquid, wring out the excess and throw it in with the load.
When your clothes come out of the dryer, they will be free of static and extremely soft! You can continue to use the sponge indefinitely.
