For many of us, wine is a daily part of life and even if we only occasionally partake of it, it is still something we enjoy. Having a glass of wine can complement a great meal or it can help us to unwind when we had a difficult day.
Although traditionally, we would use a clear wine glass, having something interesting in your hand that holds the wine can certainly help to enhance the experience. That is where these beautiful and decorative wineglasses come in. It is the perfect DIY project for the wine connoisseur or to give as a gift for someone you know that loves a touch of the grape.
For this project, you will need stemless wineglasses, a small tray, Q-tips and 2 colors of nail polish. Pink and red were used for this project.
The method of creating the colorful wineglasses is brilliantly simple. Simply pour the 2 different colors of nail polish into a tray, dab with the end of a Q-tip and then tap the color to the glass. Let it dry completely and make sure that you hand wash the glasses.
You can be as creative as you like. It is not necessary for you to stick with the red and pink nail polish, and truly, the sky is the limit! You can do this project on your own or make it a family project to give as homemade gifts.
