If you are someone that celebrates Halloween, you probably want to have the best decorations possible. After all, that is what most people are trying to accomplish, scaring others, and decorations are one of the best ways to do it.
Unfortunately, they can also be quite expensive and it isn’t out of the question to spend hundreds of dollars just to decorate your front porch or yard. That is until you learn how to decorate fantastically while only using trash bags. That’s right… you can make some awesome decorations for only pennies. Here are 11 things you can do to make your house scary…
1 Spiderwebs
Fold the trash bags and cut in from the folded edges. Make the
remaining plastic thin enough and you have some awesome looking
cobwebs
2. Streamers
Shred some old plastic bags and hang them from the ceiling.
Awesome!
3. Ghosts
Put some old wooden stakes or posts in the front yard and wrap them
with cotton or cloth. Hang some white trash bags over them and you
have the beginnings of a great ghost.
4. Curtains
5. Wreath
People use wreaths for a number of reasons but when you make this
scary wreath, it is a great decoration
6. Garland
A few trash bags hung like curtains (see #4) can easily be changed
into garland
7. Dancing Figures
Wrap the bags, filled with newspaper and use white tape to create
the neck. Put them on small wood stakes and they look great.
8. Flying Ghost in a Tree
No decorating is complete until you have a ghost hanging from a
tree. White trash bags, styrofoam balls and coat hangers are all
you need.
9. Wall Garland
Drape some plastic bags up high and hang some cheap dollar store
decorations from them.
10. Spider
This one might take a little creativity but you can make a great
giant spider.
11. Bats
Trash bags, wire and black electrical tape make a great bat.
