Many people love these types of DIY remedies because they are tired of the harsh elements of commercial products, especially those that are used on the skin or hair. It is possible to create your own shampoo and to do so with remarkable results.
It may take some getting used to at first because it doesn’t work up a lather like commercial shampoos. One thing is certain, however, you will recognise the benefits from it almost right away.
How to Do It:
Mix baking soda and water in a 1:3 ratio in a squeeze bottle. You can adjust the amount that you make according to the length of your hair.
Apply on either wet or dry hair from the roots to the hair ends. Leave it in place for 1-3 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.
You should then rinse the hair with apple cider vinegar, mixed with water in a 1:4 ratio. Essential oils can be used to help improve the smell. Be cautious not to get the vinegar in your eyes because it will burn. Rinse your hair with warm water after using the apple cider vinegar.
It is possible to create this haircare product in advance and keep it in the bathroom for your use when you need it.
You will notice the effects after the first treatment but after you use it a few times, your hair will begin to grow at an incredible rate.
