8. Storing Fruits and Vegetables Together
There are certain types of fruits and vegetables that should not
be stored together. These include apricots, bananas, pears, melons,
mangoes, plums and tomatoes, all of which give off ethylene. Avoid
storing apples, eggplants, watermelons, potatoes, pumpkins,
carrots, and broccoli near the first category of fruits and
vegetables.
