9. Hole in a Ballpoint Pen Cap
Some people mistakenly assume that the hole in the cap of a pen allows airflow if it happened to get stuck in a person’s throat. That isn’t exactly true. If something is stuck in your throat, there is swelling involved and the gap prevents the cap from getting absorbed into the membrane.
