3. Iron and a damp washcloth
If you are trying to get out stubborn stains on carpeting, try this trick. Mix vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray some on the stained carpet. Cover the stain with a damp washcloth and put an iron on the steam setting on top for 30 seconds. Repeat if necessary.
