This Is What You Should Be Doing with Your Old Pringles Cans

I absolutely love potato chips and Pringles are near the top of my list. There is an old saying that you can’t eat just one, and although it was talking about a different type of chip, I find it to be true of Pringles.

Once I open the can, the contents quickly disappear.

Unfortunately, I also spent years throwing away the Pringles cans when I was finished eating. This turned out to be a huge mistake, because the container is perfect for a wide variety of uses.

Not only can it be used for DIY projects and things that can be taken on the road, it can be used in many areas of the home for rather unique purposes. Here are a few of our favorite ways that you can reuse Pringles cans and make them awesome again.

1. Plastic Bag Storage – Don’t allow your drawers to be overwhelmed with grocery bags. Cut a hole in the lid and push the bags inside. They will come out easily, one by one.

2. Giveaway Cookies – Rather than giving cookies away in plastic containers that you will never see again, make these awesome giveaway containers with old Pringles cans.

3. Cotton Pads – Decorate an old Pringles can and cut a hole in the bottom of it as you see in this picture. It is perfect for the bathroom counter to dispense cotton pads.

4. Pasta Storage – you will be amazed with how nicely spaghetti noodles fit inside a Pringles can.

5. Paint Rollers – What do you do with your old paint rollers? Put them inside of a Pringles can, squeeze and pull them from the handle. No fuss, no mess.

6. Candlesticks – Wrap twine around the outside of your Pringles cans and drop a candle inside. You can see the instructions here

7. Phone Speaker – The chip container can amplify sound quite nicely. Cut a hole to fit your phone and you have a makeshift speaker that works great.
