When most of us make ourselves a cup of tea we don’t give much thought to the teabag we are using. It is simply something that serves the purpose and more than likely, finds its way into the rubbish. 1.Relieve a Sunburn – The astringent and soothing properties in black tea can help to calm down the heat of a sunburn.

2.Tired Eyes – The tannins found in black teas can help to soothe puffy eyes. Store the teabags in the jar in the refrigerator for up to a few days to use for this purpose.

3.Minor Burns – Not only are the tannins great for tired eyes, they can also help to soothe inflammation caused by accidental burns.

4.Hair Rinse – Add some shine to your hair or control dandruff with a tea rinse. Have some tea steeping for an hour and use it as a rinse.

5.Warts – If you have a wart, putting the teabag directly on it and securing it with a wrap bandage for 15 minutes may help to shrink it. It may work because of the antioxidants in green tea.
