Use This Belly Map To Discover Why Your Stomach Hurts

When we have aches and pains, we typically want to know why we are having them and what we can do to correct the problem as soon as possible. We often consider that pain is a problem directly associated with the area experiencing the trouble but in reality, an ache here or there could actually be a sign of a health problem in another part of the body.

One type of pain we may experience on occasion is a difficulty of abdominal pain. When we have this type of discomfort, it could actually be a sign of a different problem, depending on where we are feeling it. Some of those problems could include stomach ulcers, pancreatitis, kidney stones, gallstones and constipation.

The first thing to do when you begin to feel abdominal cramps is to try to determine what may have caused it. In many cases, it could just be an upset stomach, characterized by inflammation of the lining of the stomach or intestines. It may be caused by over indulging in food or drink.

Another issue that could lead to a stomach ache is an allergic reaction to food or a viral infection. Overconsumption of fatty foods or alcohol could also irritate the stomach.

Some of the common symptoms may include gas, nausea, heartburn, belching, vomiting, chills and a change in your bowel movements. When you have a problem that is more severe, it might require a trip to the doctor.
