This particular DIY project is an awesome way for you to add something to your walls that looks like it comes straight out of the most expensive shops. It is a mirror that can be made, not only easily but for next to nothing as far as money is concerned.

To get started, you will need the following.

1 12 inch MDF Wreath Form
1 18 inch MDF Wreath Form
Card Stock
Glue Gun
Primer
White Latex Paint
Acrylic Paint
Brush
Twine
A Mirror

Begin by cutting the handles off of the plastic spoons

1

Connect the two forms with the spoon handles and a glue gun.

2

Flip it over and add card stock to cover the space between the forms. Later card stock in a circular fashion.

3

Attach the tops of the spoons with hot glue from the outside and moving inside in a layered pattern.

For the next step, you should take the piece outside to add paint. Spray it with several coats of primer, keeping the coats thin. After the primer has dried, paint the back and front of the first row of spoons on the inside using acrylic paint.

Now that you have reached the second row, mix acrylic paint with white latex paint to create a softer color and apply. Continue to move your way out, increasing the amount of white paint you are adding to the acrylic paint to lighten it as you go.

After the paint has dried, attach a small round mirror to the back using the glue gun. Attach twine to the back of the mirror using hot glue to hang it.
