Make Sure You Always Have a Piece of Wood like THIS Before Getting in the Tub

We all have a routine that we follow on a regular basis, the routine of getting clean, either in the shower or in the bath. If you are somebody that enjoys soaking in the tub, the piece of wood described in this article is going to change your life forever.

In fact, you may find that you never take a bath without it again.

Many people appreciate the comfort that a bubble bath provides. They may find that they are soaking in the tub for an hour or more and some people even drain the tub to add hot water again.

After seeing this unique DIY project, I realized that I had been taking baths the wrong way all along and I’m sure you will agree.

This little board is going to provide a sanctuary for you right in your own bathtub. It is known as a bathtub caddy and it will quickly become the most necessary piece of equipment you have in the bathroom. On the caddy is room for everything you might need, including a magazine, candle and even a flower.

The first thing you’ll need to do is gather your supplies. Aside from the tools that are necessary, which are quite basic, you will need 2 boards and wood stain.

Measure the bathtub carefully to get an accurate width for the inside. You will then use that as a guide for cutting the first piece of wood into 3 pieces.

Lay those three pieces of wood side-by-side to match the ends.

2

Cut the second piece of wood so that it is long enough to cross all three of the pieces you previously cut. Make sure you don’t cut it too long that it is longer than the width of those three boards.

Secure the newly cut board to the bottom of your three boards to create your table. The board not only helps to hold the table together, it also keeps it from shifting and falling into the bathtub.

The construction of this DIY project is now essentially done. The only thing left to do is to finish the wood using some stain and polyurethane.

4

You may want to consider using a wax paste as a finish, as it may help to repel some of the water that may get on it.

Finally, add all of your bathtime favorites to the bathtub caddy and enjoy.
