These DIY Concrete Hands Are Perfect for Holding Plants

I’m somebody that absolutely loves DIY projects and I will try almost anything that comes my way, regardless of whether it is easy or quite difficult. When I saw this unique project, however, I dropped everything that I was doing got started right away.

After all, I had been wanting to make something of concrete and the end result is so nice, I’ve even started making them for friends as well.

In this project, you are making a concrete planter but it is not the typical planter that you may see elsewhere. It comes in the shape of hands, and when you are finished with it, it is so awesome that you will certainly deserve bragging rights.

For this project, you will need a gardening trowel, scissors, casting cement and heavy rubber gloves.

Make sure you are purchasing casting cement and not other concrete products, such as what you would find at a hardware store. Save yourself the time and effort, this only works with casting cement.

In essence, you fill the gloves with casting cement, form it into a shape that would hold dirt for a plant and then after it dries, you cut away the glove. Quite simple but quite ingenious!
