Creating stained-glass windows within the home can certainly generate a very interesting and nontraditional appeal to your living space. If you were to use traditional stained-glass windows, you could expect to spend a lot of money but that isn’t the case with this simple DIY project.
We are going to show you how to create your own stained-glass and to do so on a budget. For this project, you will need a few bottles of Gallery Glass and some self-adhesive leading.
The first step is to apply Gallery Glass to the windows liberally. You can finger paint to give it a unique look. Although many people may try to use a small brush or other tool, your hands really provide the best resource. Simply swirl the paint around the middle and then use three fingers to smooth it down and create a ripple effect.
Allow the glass to dry and then apply the self-adhesive leading details. You can also add them to the angles to create some awesome affects! When finished, you will have something you can be proud of, as it will be just as good as expensive stained glass that you buy at the store.
