If you are dealing with cold and flu symptoms, rub some VapoRub on your feet and cover them with socks before bedtime.
3. Potty-Train a Puppy

Dogs and cats don’t seem to like the smell of VapoRub and will avoid an open jar.
4. Stretch Marks

Reduce stretch marks but rubbing VapoRub on them. It helps to tone down the bright colors of the marks and helps them to fade.
5. Bug Repellent

VapoRub may just be the miracle acne cure you were looking for. Apply it to the area where acne is a problem at bedtime and watch to see what happens in the morning.

If your cat loves to scratch, VapoRub can keep them away from those areas. Apply a small amount to the area where they like to scratch.
10. Earaches
Rub VapoRub on a cotton ball and put it in your ear
There is nothing worse than an earache, but a little VapoRub on a cotton ball might help. Put a small amount on the cotton ball and put it in your ear for a few hours, several times daily. It won’t clear up an infection but it may help to ease the pain.
11. Ticks

Ticks do not like VapoRub, so applying some directly to the tick may get them to release their bit.
Of course, if you see any type of bulls-eye rash, it is best to go to your doctor, as it could be the sign of Lyme disease
