When most of us think about using a rod around the home, we likely think about using one in the shower or perhaps to divide a room with a curtain. The fact of the matter is, however, with a little bit of imagination and elbow grease, you can make use of rods in many different ways at home!

2. Stockings Were Hung – Many people hang stockings by the fire during Christmas but it is an excellent way to decorate at any time of the year. All you need are some unique stockings and a curtain rod.
3. Pots and Pans – No need to get fancy with an expensive kitchen item to keep your pots and pans organized. A curtain rod will do quite nicely.
4. Cleaning Supplies – Since space is often limited where you keep your cleaning supplies, a rod can be hung to hold your spray bottles.
5. Store Your Shoes – you can even use shower rods to store your shoes up and out of the way so that they are neatly organized.
6. Extra Clothing – There is always room for extra hanging space, particularly in the laundry room.
7. For the Crafty Person – There is no doubt that someone who loves crafts will accumulate many items. Using shower rods is an excellent way to keep things organized so you can find them quickly.
8. Tub Toys – This tip makes use of the shower rod in the shower, but not for the shower curtain. Install the shower rod down low and keep the toys up and out of the water with tie wraps.
